POLICIES & PROCEDURES
At BKK Beauty, it is our intention to provide our guests with professional and therapeutic services in a relaxing and friendly environment. We tailor each treatment to our client’s individual needs. The following policies and procedures serve as a guide for our first-time and repeating guests.
We strongly believe that your time is valuable, as is ours, and we make every attempt to be ready for your appointment at the scheduled time. In our commitment to provide a unique and outstanding experience to all of our clients and out of consideration for our therapists’ time, we have adopted the following policies:
We strongly believe that your time is valuable, as is ours, and we make every attempt to be ready for your appointment at the scheduled time. In our commitment to provide a unique and outstanding experience to all of our clients and out of consideration for our therapists’ time, we have adopted the following policies:
1. Arrival to Your Massage or Spa Treatment
Please arrive for your appointment 5-10 minutes prior to the scheduled starting time. This allows you the time to fill out the appropriate client forms (new clients), change and prepare for the service. All new clients and clients we haven’t seen for treatment in over a year must fill out all massage intake forms and general health questionnaire before any services will be performed. For your convenience, we can forward all appropriate forms to you via email to be completed online and submitted back to us prior to your appointment check-in time. This helps to speed up your check-in time as well. All treatment sessions have a specific time schedule and early arrival allows for a relaxed and unhurried experience. If late arrival is inevitable, your service may be shortened in order to keep on schedule and the original treatment time may be charged.
2. Cancellation Policy & Fees
Your therapy times are reserved exclusively for you. We value your business and ask that you respect the office scheduling policies. Should you need to cancel or reschedule, please notify us at least 24 hours in advance. Any cancellations with less than 24 hours of notice are subject to a cancellation fee of half the service price. Clients who miss their appointments without giving any prior notification will be charged in full for the scheduled service. We recognize the time of our clients and staff is valuable and have implemented this policy for this reason. When you miss an appointment with us, our therapists not only lose your business, but also the potential business of other clients who could have scheduled an appointment for the same time. Additionally, many times our staff will be functioning in an “on call” status and may have traveled to the office specifically for your service. For these reasons, we are obligated to compensate our staff for their time. All services require a credit card or gift certificate to guarantee a reservation so please have your credit card and/or gift certificate ready when booking. You will not be billed unless there is a cancellation or no show. Upon checkout, guests may choose their method of payment and are not obligated to use their credit card for payment.
3. Late Arrival Policy
All treatment sessions have a specific time schedule therefore we regret that late arrivals may not receive extension of scheduled appointments. In special cases, and when our schedule will allow, we may be able to accommodate a partial or full appointment. This will be at our discretion and only with proper, advanced notification of your late arrival. The original reservation fee will be charged.
4. No Show Policy
At BKK Beauty, we understand that unanticipated events occur in everyone’s life. Unforeseen events such as car problems, business meetings and children’s illnesses, are just a few reasons why one might consider canceling a massage appointment. However, we ask that you call if you cannot keep your appointment. Clients who miss their appointments without giving any prior notification may be charged in full for the scheduled service.
5. Informed Consent
Prior to each massage session, the treatment plan will be discussed with you. At your first visit with us you will be asked to sign the treatment consent form stating that you have read the information, understand it, and agree to comply with the professional massage therapy policies and procedures. Clients who we have not seen for at least a year may also be asked to fill out this form.
6. Reservations
In order to help ensure that you obtain your desired appointments, we recommend scheduling your appointment as far in advance as possible to ensure availability. To accommodate your desired appointment a credit card is required at the time of booking to guarantee your reservation. Gift Certificates may also be used in lieu of a credit card to hold your appointment. We hold this information as part of our cancellation policies and only make necessary charges to your account on the date of your scheduled service. Details of our cancellation policy are provided above.
*Please notify the front desk staff of any allergies or sensitivities to aromas or ingredients when you schedule your appointment.

4-hands massage $140/60 min. *vip & CEO Plan Members only
Exclusive offer for our VIP & CEO Loyalty Plan members. A 4-Hands Massage is a kind of massage that has two therapists for one client. They practice synchronized technical massage movements and apply the same pressure and pace on both sides of the body (left and right ) which increases the level of muscle relaxation and massage benefits.
aromatherapy massage $80/60 min. $110/90 min. $160/120 min.
Aromatherapy massages are best for people who want to have an emotional healing component to their massage. This type of massage can help boost your mood, reduce stress and anxiety, reduce symptoms of depression, and relieve muscle tension and pain. This type of massage combines soft, gentle pressure with the use of essential oils. Your massage therapist can curate an aromatherapy experience based on your physical and mental needs or you can let them know if you have a preference. The session includes both aromatherapy massage oil and a room diffuser. You may undress fully or partially for this type of massage.
AYURVEDIC (INDIAN) MASSAGE $85/60 MIN. $115/90 MIN. $165/120 MIN.
The Ayurvedic practice of abhyanga, or oil massage, touts physical benefits like released muscle tension, lymphatic drainage, and more nourished skin from head to toe. It stands out from other massages due to its focus on the skin, rather than just the underlying muscles—from the oils used to the circulation-stimulating movements, it’s more like a facial massage for your whole body. The heavy use of essential oils and focus on specific energy points in the body makes an Ayurvedic massage different from your run-of-the-mill Swedish massage. Plus, don't expect a ton of actual massaging—the treatment is much more focused on manipulating your energy fields and freeing emotional burden than working out the kinks in your muscles. You may undress fully or partially for this type of massage.
CUPPING THERAPY MASSAGE $85/60 MIN. $115/90 MIN. $165/120 MIN.
Cupping is a type of alternative therapy that involves placing cups on the skin to create suction. This suction is thought to improve the flow of energy in the body and facilitate healing. The therapist will place cups on the back, chest, abdomen, buttocks, and/or legs to increase blood circulation to the areas. This helps to relieve muscle tension, which can improve overall blood flow and promote cell repair. It may also help form new connective tissues and create new blood vessels in the tissue. Cupping isn’t for everyone. Do not get a cupping therapy massage if you’re on blood-thinning medication. Cupping can also cause bruising, discoloration, circular marks from where the cups were placed, and occasional dizziness. Any discoloration or marks from cupping usually go away within seven (7) days after the session.
DEEP TISSUE MASSAGE $80/60 MIN. $110/90 MIN. $160/120 MIN.
Deep Tissue massage uses more pressure than a Swedish massage. It’s a good option if you have chronic muscle problems, such as soreness, injury, or imbalance. It can help relieve tight muscles, chronic muscle pain, and anxiety. Deep Tissue massage can be combined with an assisted stretching session or back walking for added pressure. You may undress fully or partially for this type of massage.
HOT STONES MASSAGE $90/60 MIN. $120/90 MIN. $170/120 MIN.
A hot stone massage is best for people who have muscle pain and tension or who simply want to relax. This type of therapeutic massage is similar to a Swedish massage, only the massage therapist uses heated stones in lieu of or in addition to their hands. It eases muscle tension, improves blood flow, and relieves pain. The stones are pre-heated to 125 degrees at the time your session begins so we recommend either a 90 or 120-minute session to maximize the benefits from heat therapy. You may undress fully or partially for this type of massage.
LOMILOMI (HAWAIIAN) MASSAGE $110/60 MIN. $140/90 MIN.
Lomilomi Massage, also known as loving hands massage, is a traditional Hawaiian massage that combines massage techniques, nut oils, breathing and dance to soothe the body. It is based on the Huna philosophy and how it is related to our bodies work and its healing process. Therapists make use of their palms, fingers, knuckles, elbows, knees, and feet during the massage to make broad, flowing strokes. It is more than just a physical massage; it is a healing experience that harmonizes the body, mind, and spirit. It has a positive effect on all body systems. It improves flexibility, reduces stress, balances the body and mind, and helps you reach clarity and relaxation.
PRENATAL MASSAGE $90/60 min. $120/90 min.
Prenatal massage can be a safe way for women to get a massage during pregnancy. It helps reduce pregnancy body aches, reduce stress, and ease muscle tension. This type of massage uses mild pressure similar to Swedish massage. The therapist will focus on areas such as your lower back, hips, and legs. You can be fully or partially undressed depending on your comfort level. We do not advise a prenatal massage during the first (1st) trimester of pregnancy. Please consult with your doctor before booking your session.
sports massage $80/60 min. $110/90 min. $160/120 min.
Sports massage is a good option if you have a repetitive use injury to a muscle, such as what you may get from playing a sport. It’s also a good option if you’re prone to injuries because it can be used to help prevent sports injuries. You may also use sports massage to increase flexibility and performance. Additionally, sports massage can be used to relieve pain, anxiety, and muscle tension. This type of massage can be done as a full-body massage or the massage therapist may focus on the parts of the body that need the most attention. Clothing is optional, but if you’re going to stay clothed, wear thin, loose material that allows the therapist access to your muscles.
swedish massage $70/60 min. $100/90 min. $150/120 min.
Swedish massage is a gentle type of full-body massage that’s ideal for people who are new to massage therapy, have a lot of tension, or are sensitive to touch. It can also help to release minor muscle knots. Swedish massage can be combined with an assisted stretching session or back walking for added pressure. You may undress fully or partially for this type of massage.
thai combination massage $90/60 min. $120/90 min. $170/120 min.
Our most popular massage session! Our special mix of Swedish, Thai, and Shiatsu techniques is a great massage for loosening up tight muscles, working out knots, increasing flexibility, and rebalancing energy to feel more grounded and calm.
Most popular! traditional thai massage $70/60 min.
An active form of massage therapy, Thai massage is really good at helping to release tension, ease muscle and joint pain, increase blood flow and energy levels and improve overall mobility. Traditional Thai massage is performed clothed with no oil used and includes an assisted stretching session, back walking, and Tigerbalm application to the client’s target areas. See THAI MASSAGE 101 for a full breakdown of what to expect from your first Thai massage session.
TRIGGER POINT/ACUPRESSURE MASSAGE $70/60 MIN. $100/90 MIN.

Sometimes areas of tightness in the muscle tissues, known as trigger points, can cause pain in other parts of the body. By focusing on relieving trigger points, this type of massage can reduce pain. HOW TO CARE FOR YOUR LUK PRA KOB SET
1. After use, set balls out to air dry completely. Weather permitting, you an even put them outside to dry in the sun.
2. Store balls in a sealed Ziploc bag in the refrigerator to maintain freshness.
3. Balls are good for approximately 5 uses after your initial massage session.
4. Re-steaming Instructions: You can use a vegetable steamer, rice cooker or anything that has a steaming basket to re-steam your balls. You can also use a microwave to steam them (about 3-5 min. per ball). Balls are ready for use when they are a bit soft and moist. If there’s excess water, you can use a paper towel under the balls to soak it up. Pro Tip: You can save the water from the steamer for the next time you re-steam your balls to add extra intensity to the herbs.
5. Use your Thai herbal compress balls in-between massage therapy sessions whenever you have aching muscles or joint pain. The herbs in the balls are also helpful for sinus allergies and arthritis pain.
*Perfect for use at home in-between massage sessions or bring them to your next Thai massage session with us!
